Ethical Dilemmas in Clinical Reasoning is an Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) accredited CPD course designed to help healthcare professionals navigate the complex ethical challenges that arise in everyday clinical practice. Through practical scenarios and reflective discussion, this course explores how ethical principles intersect with clinical decision-making, patient autonomy, professional responsibility, and evidence-based care. Participants will strengthen their ability to recognise ethical dilemmas, apply structured clinical reasoning, and make balanced, patient-centred decisions in situations where the “right” answer is not always clear.
