2. Accreditation and Compliance

All CPD Medical courses are accredited with relevant professional bodies and align with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) standards. Course CEUs and categories are stated on each course page and certificate.

3. HPCSA CPD Point Allocation Policy

In accordance with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements, the CPD cycle operates from 1 April to 31 March each year.

CPD points earned and submitted on or before 31 March will be allocated to the current HPCSA CPD year.
Any CPD activities completed or points earned after 31 March will be credited to the subsequent HPCSA CPD year cycle.

It remains the responsibility of each practitioner to ensure that CPD activities are completed within the applicable cycle period to ensure accurate allocation of points.

 

4. Use of Website

  • This website is intended for registered health professionals and individuals seeking professional development.
  • You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage or impair its functionality.
  • All text, images, designs, and course materials remain the property of CPD Medical and may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission.

5. Registration and Payment

  • Course enrolments are processed once full payment has been received.
  • Payments are non-transferable but may be credited to a future course under certain circumstances.
  • Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and may be updated without prior notice.
  • CPD Medical uses secure payment systems and does not store your credit card details.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Refunds will only be considered within 7 working days of payment and before course access is granted.
  • Once course materials have been downloaded or accessed, no refunds can be issued.
  • If a course is cancelled by CPD Medical, you will be offered a full refund or alternative date.

7. Course Access and Certificates

  • Learners are responsible for completing the course and assessments within the specified timeframe.
  • Certificates will be issued only after successful completion and verification of CEUs.
  • CPD Medical reserves the right to withhold certificates if fraud, plagiarism, or non-compliance is detected.

8. Personal Information and POPIA Compliance

CPD Medical respects your privacy and complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act 4 of 2013. We only collect personal information necessary for course registration, CPD record submission, and communication.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, CPD Medical cannot be held liable for any errors, interruptions, or technical issues that may arise while using this site or course materials. Participation in courses is at your own discretion and professional responsibility.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
